A new court order reinforcing e-cigarette bans in the Indian states of Haryana and Punjab underlines the complexity of enforcement in a country where restrictions on vapour products have been slowly accumulating for years.
An Indian high court covering the northern states of Punjab and Haryana has issued a notice to the state governments ordering them to ban e-cigarettes containing nicotine. There is currently no national legislation on e-cigarettes.
